Very, very cool image compression concept.

Roger Alsing started something when he made a program to evolve an image out of polygons. His original blog entry is here. but read the followup entries as well. There’s some good stuff there. Several people remarked upon the small data size of 50 polygons and this raised the question of image compression. Could this system be a good way to compress images?
